Solar system is consists of Sun, Planet's, Stars etc., The Earth and other planets revolved around the Sun in Elliptical shape. The Solar system has eight Planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupitar, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, which is in increasing distance from the Sun respectively.
The Sun is also a star. It's nearest to the earth that's why it appears so big compared to the other stars. A star is made up of huge ball of heat and consists of glowing gases, Stars gives heat and light.
Except Sun, every Stars appear twinkling inside the Earth atmosphere because Stars are very far from us so, Starlight interfere to the air movement inside Earth that's for the reason Stars seem to twinkling in night. We cannot see stars during day time because the Sun light. Without Sun, It's would be no life and very cold on the Earth.
Facts about the Planets
The Planet's are large heavenly body that goes around stars. Our Earth is a planet. Planet's not give out own heat and light. They don't twinkle because they closer to Earth. Six planets have objects that is called Moons. Mercury and Venus don't have moons.
Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars are called the inner planets due to nearest to the sun which are closest to the Sun, they are made up of rocks.
Jupitar, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are farthest from the Sun called as outer planets, they are made up of mainly gases.
1. MERCURY
Mercury is closest and smallest planet in the Solar system, it's very hot during the day time and very cold at the night. Mercury has no moons. It has very little air around Mercury.
2. VENUS
Venus is the hottest planet closest to the Earth.Venus also does not have any moon. It's shines very brightest among all planets. Mercury is often called morning star or evening star because it can be seen in morning and evening.
3. Earth
Our Earth is the only one planet that is known to have life. It's neither too hot nor too cold. Earth has water and oxygen which is important for life. Earth has one moon.
4. MARS
Mars is known as red planet because it's appears red and consists of red dust that cover it. Mars has two moons.
5. JUPITAR
